First of all, what is "Defensive driving"?

Defensive driving is a set of defensive skills aimed at reducing the number of accidents on the road and its consequences. In other words is driving skill set that focuses on: "save lives, time and money, in spite of the conditions around you the actions of others."


By using defensive driving you will help save lives because you care and are worried about the safety of others; Okay, you might be asking yourself about how you will save time. Well, imagine you find yourself in a situation of an accident, you probably will have to expend some of your time and money, fixing your car, paying for damage caused by you or even expend hours talking with your insurance company so they don't raise your insurance. If you learn how to defense driving you will avoid many unpleasant and unnecessary situations. Below you will find 5 tips related to defensive driving.


1-In defensive driving the strongest word we ca relate to it is safety. Risk overtaking in prohibited places, perform dangerous maneuvers, seize the red signal and stop using signaling are some of the attitudes that can jeopardize or cause damage not only the vehicle, the driver and the passengers, but also the other people That circulate through, like the motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. you care about the safety of yourself and the others around you


2-Defensive driving means that you have to be ready for anything at all times.

Not everywhere has good track conditions, lighting or climate. So, the more information before you leave the house, the better. Don't know the way? No problem, use a GPS application to find your destiny.

4- Do regular checks on your vehicle, because throughout time and as the mileage of your vehicle increases it also can generate some mechanical problems. Further inspection in a workshop is also recommended, just so you don't have any problems while driving.


5- Driving is an unnatural skill, therefore, we aren't born with it, but it can be developed, and in order to this skill to be developed and mastered, practice is needed. If you are not 100% confident about your driving skills avoid taking busy roads.
